Hunter Hayes Takes Unique Approach to New '21 Project': The Ram Report

On today's Ram Report, Hunter Hayes thinks outside the box.

The country star has come up with a unique concept for his next album: record all of its tracks three times. The 21 Project, out November 6th, will be a three-disc set of the same seven songs recorded acoustic, in a studio and live in concert. Hayes co-wrote every song on the compilation, including his current single, "21," and a new duet with Lady Antebellum, "Where It All Begins."

"This project brings the focus back to the music and shows how a song grows from its original form into something we play onstage," says the Louisiana native. "We're making our fall tour all about the music and connecting with fans in a closer setting, and just enjoying music together."

The singer-songwriter's tour begins October 22nd at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. He'll hit nine college campuses before wrapping in mid-November.
