A decade and a half after forming in Tijuana, Nortec Collective — their name a portmanteau combining "norteño" with "techno" — are officially splitting, with Bostich + Fussible's Motel Baja serving as their final LP. Out September 16th (Mexican Independence Day), the record completes the duo's Border Trilogy and features German collaborators such as Kraftwerk's Wolfgang Flur and Señor Coconut's Uwe Schmidt. Tom Tom Club, meanwhile, appear on the Motel's laid-back title track, which can be streamed below.
